What are the hours of operation?

Can I drop off my kids or do I need to go in?

Children 12 years of age and younger must be accompanied by a responsible adult (16+) who intends to directly supervise them while in the waterpark.
Children 5 years of age and younger must be actively supervised by an in-water responsible adult (16+) within arm’s reach at all times.

 

What attire is required at the waterpark?

Proper swimwear must be worn at all times. Lined bathing suits are required. No cutoffs, thongs, gym shorts or suits deemed inappropriate by management will be permitted. Swimwear with zippers, rivets, buckles, or any metal ornamentation is prohibited on the slides. Loose fitting clothing and accessories that pose an entrapment risk are not permitted. All diaper-dependent guests must wear an approved swim diaper.

 

Can I bring food and beverages into the waterpark?

Outside food, drinks, and coolers are not permitted in the waterpark. Special needs items may be brought into the park with prior approval from management. (No glass containers)

 

Are food and beverages allowed on the pool deck?

Food and drink must remain in the dining area, located across from the Snack Shack. 

  

Are towels provided in the waterpark?

All guests are encouraged to bring their own towels. Parrot Cove souvenir towels may be purchased at Guest Services.

   

What flotation devices are allowed in the waterpark?

Flotation devices (water wings, noodles, float belts, rafts, balls, etc.) are not permitted in the waterpark. Infant flotation devices must have leg openings, and are subject to management approval. Only Coast Guard approved life jackets may be worn inside Parrot Cove. Life jackets are available at Parrot Cove on a first come first serve basis. Life jackets may not be worn on any slides.

    

Are there lifeguards on duty?

The safety of our guests is our #1 priority. American Red Cross certified lifeguards staff Parrot Cove at all times during operating hours. Safety rules are posted at each pool and attraction. However, lifeguards are on duty to enforce rules and regulations, and to assist in emergencies. Parents and adult supervisors are primarily responsible for their children.

 

What is your inclement weather policy?

Parrot Cove is open rain or shine. However, we take the safety of our guests very seriously, and we have specific guidelines in regards to inclement weather. During periods of lightning, some or all attractions may close temporarily. In the event that attractions are shut down for inclement weather, we will make every effort to reopen attractions as soon as weather conditions permit safe operation. Refunds will not be given for inclement weather.

 

Do I need a wristband if I’m not swimming?

All guests entering the waterpark must have a wristband, including non-swimming spectators.

 

Is there an arcade in the waterpark?

The arcade is located in the front lobby of the waterpark, and features state of the art games and a prize redemption center. All guests entering the arcade must have a wristband. Guests must wear shirts and shorts while in the arcade. NO WET SWIMSUITS ALLOWED IN ARCADE. 

 

Are there changing areas and locker facilities available at Parrot Cove?

There are men’s, women’s, and family restrooms available with showers. Lockers are available in various sizes for rent.

 

Is there a place to purchase food and beverage at Parrot Cove?

Guests can enjoy a variety of food and beverage items available at the Snack Shack. Please see a full list of menu items on our home page.

 

Are there age, weight, and height requirements for any features at Parrot Cove?
Riptide Rush and Screamin’ Tsunami
Height requirement: Must be 48” tall to ride.
1 rider weight limit: 300 lbs
2 rider weight limit: 400 lb

Rum Barrel Runaway and Pineapple Express
Height requirement: Must be 40” tall to ride.
Weight limit: 300 lbs

Castaway Cay
Age requirement: 5 years and younger

L'il Explorers Reef
Age requirement: 5 years and younger

Gilbert Gator Slide
Age requirement: 4 years and younger
